SEAVELVET showed the benefit of her introductory run at Gowran Park in July with a fine effort over 7f there a month later. She receives more than the usual allowance due to the conditions and can make the 8lb she gets from Charpoy count. The latter was a relatively expensive purchase and should repay the faith in him soon as he has produced two fine runs to date. An opening effort behind the high-class Casamento at Tipperary was followed by a very good third behind Rising Wind on soft ground at Listowel where he led over a furlong out only to be caught close home. Like so many of the Ballydoyle juveniles this year, Fairylike showed little on her debut but is likely to improve significantly and she's another with race conditions in her favour.
