In depth
Verdict
A moderate contest with mainly exposed sorts competing. There seems little hope for several of these, none more so than the six-year-old Little Felix, who has had plenty of chances under both codes. The disappointing Jahangir clearly has none of the ability of his half-brother Averti, who is a high class sprinter. He is one for the shortlist, if only for the fact that he has never run here and may be open to a little improvement on the Fibresand, while Call The Mark is another to tackle this surface for the first time and he wouldn't be without a chance if handling this slower track, especially if he can reproduce his effort when chasing home Our Chelsea Blue last time. A last chance is taken with Magic Mamma's Too, who has proved expensive to follow of late. He has been sent off favourite on his last three outings and the money has been left in the bookmakers satchels on each occasion. However, this is by far and away his easiest task and he should be good enough to see off some disappointing types.
