Verdict

Got One Too unseated at Wincanton last time but is well regarded by trainer Nicky Henderson, holds Cheltenham entries for the Arkle and Grand Annual and will be sent off as favourite to get back to winning ways. As such he gets the vote. He is also the only course winner in the contest. Claymore (a Mildmay of Flete entry at Cheltenham) has won five races, including three chases and can give the selection most to do. The consistent Canadiane is not without a chance while Philip Hobbs Angers winner, Trezor Preziniere, is a little hard to assess as this is his British debut, although he holds the Arkle entry too. Tarongo has been pulled up in all three of his hurdle starts and is making his chasing debut.
