Not the best seller ever staged and with Tiger Hawk and Clayton Flick appearing to go better at Southwell we will take a chance on YOUR LAD, while Creevy and Que Belle are interesting. The Chris Wall-trained selection should not be found wanting for fitness and has been well beaten on just two starts so far. He is well related, however, and there should be more ability than we have seen, especially given this longer trip, and now dropped into this grade we will see more. Creevy has claims now dropped 4lbs, blinkered, and racing in his first seller, and a market check is advised given connections. Que Belle tries this company after three maidens and it should not be as competitive as some of those, and Tom Dascombe adds the visor for the first time and should see his charge go very well. Tiger Hawk is the best horse in the race and nicely treated with most at the weights. He has run no better than reasonably well when tried here before and it may just be that this surface is not slow enough for him. Clayton Flick is another of the same mould, and with little else making appeal we'll side with Your Lad.
