Susie May has been in good form of late and Gary Moore's filly is bound to have her backers but there is every suspicion judged by her latest start at Newmarket that the handicapper may now have her measure and preference is for Cosmea, who gets the vote with Medieval Maiden rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has yet to win a race but Alan King's filly has slipped to a fair mark now and showed enough when chasing home Addwaitya at Goodwood last time to suggest that a race of this nature would be well within her compass. Tom Dascombe's Naughty Thoughts has more to do off a 3lb higher mark than when winning at York last time, while Michael Bell's Sea Chorus could probably do with some help from the handicapper. Medieval Maiden has run well in two recent starts on the Polytrack but has yet to show the same level of form on turf and a better bet looks to be Cosmea, who gets the vote to open her account.
