Currency comes here in fair form and Milton Bradley's charge gets the nod ahead of Jal Music, Marko Jadeo and Green Lagonda. At eleven years of age, and with 117 runs under his belt, the selection knows what it takes to win a race and Milton Bradley's gelding won well two starts back at Bath. He holds Marko Jadeo, Half A Tsar and High Reach on that run and he can confirm those placings. Mr Rooney has been disappointing this season but he is certainly up to winning at this level if putting his best foot forward, whilst Peruvian Style is on a long losing streak at present, not unlike most of his rivals. Jal Music won at Southwell earlier in the year and is at least less exposed than most of this field, whilst Monashee Prince takes a drop in class and his stable are in good form. At a price Scarlett Heart could go well with the first-time blinkers on, however it is Currency who is fancied to get back to winning ways.
