A winner at Folkestone on his debut, the selection put a below par effort behind him when finding just Holborn too good in the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot earlier in the month. A reproduction of that effort should suffice for Richard Hannon's colt. Musselburgh winner First Eclipse may struggle under her penalty and, with Bella Tutrice more exposed than most of these, a bigger threat may come from All The More. Nerys Dutfield's juveniles normally improve with racing experience so there should be more to come from this daughter of Ali-Royal, who gets all the allowances going. Morgan Lewis makes limited appeal on his debut in a race that should go to Vienna's Boy.
