In depth

Verdict

CARTIER won a lower grade handicap at Catterick just 10 days ago but did so by four lengths and looked to have plenty left in the tank. She can defy a 6lb rise with more to come from David Simcock’s filly. Stockhill Diva should get involved again having gone close over track and trip last month while Hound Music has the beating of Graceland on collateral form though failed to cope with a 9lb hike in the weights last time. Northern Meeting raced just the once on the Flat last year when second off a similar mark and is fit from hurdling.
