Dubois can build on his promising debut to score here from Soulacroix and Cutting Crew. David Loder's colt has entries in the Dewhurst and Racing Post Trophy, and was probably unlucky to come up against the equally highly-rated Eden Rock on his Yarmouth debut. A son of Sadler's Wells, he will relish the step up in trip and can quickly make amends here. Soulacroix has Slip Anchor on the dam's side and is another who will improve over a distance as an optimistic entry in the Vodafone Derby indicates. Cutting Crew was a bit disappointing at Doncaster after his promising Sandown debut and might be hard to place, while Baker Of Oz is worth a mention on his second to subsequent winner Malin at Goodwood. Dubois has the most scope though and is fancied to score before going on to better things.
