Shady Reflection has been a beaten favourite on each of her two outings so far but is given one last chance here to justify her reputation, with Helensburgh and Jarvo likely to provide the main competition. The John Gosden trained filly showed some promise on her debut in a decent maiden at Salisbury, but was a disappointing well-backed favourite in her subsequent race at Leicester and finished well down the field in seventh. Although that was a poor effort, the ground was probably a bit on the lively side that day and conditions will be more to suit here. Helensburgh shaped quite well on his debut at Redcar a fortnight ago and will have certainly come on for the experience, so could be the one to chase our selection home here. Jarvo has finished second on two of his three runs so far and although he has shown promise, he will need to improve again here to make the frame. However he should go well and looks to once again have good place prospects. Any market support for the James Given newcomer All Diamonds should also be noted, while the rest look a fairly moderate bunch. Although she has been expensive to follow so far, we are happy to side with Shady Reflection, who should be good enough here to finally repay her supporters.
