        Verdict

        Maykir has raced over further but his two victories to date have come over a mile. Marco Ghiani’s claim takes a chunk out of the 6lb he was raised after scoring here 12 days ago but COMPASS POINT is preferred. Robyn Brisland’s charge was second on good to soft at Leicester last month when 3lb higher and he has won over this trip on the all-weather. Mistress Nellie needs to rediscover her best form and the maiden Mister Dependable tries a new trip.
