Verdict

The form of Extra Elusive’s victory in the Rose Of Lancaster at Haydock received a huge boost when runner-up Certain Lad went one better in the Strensall at York, though Roger Charlton’s five-year-old does have a small penalty and FOX CHAIRMAN can take advantage. Andrew Balding’s colt probably produced a career-best when chasing home the impressive Aspetar in a Group 2 at York last time when some smart performers were in arrears. Sinjaari, Tinandali and Sky Defender all attempt to make the big step up from handicap company and King Ottokar hasn’t been at his best this year and also has a mountain to climb on these terms, though a first-time visor might aid his cause.
