ASHPAN SAM certainly wasn't winning out of turn at Epsom three weeks ago. A 5lb higher mark will make life tougher here but he's almost guaranteed to run his race, which is more than you can say about a few of his rivals, so is taken to reverse Newmarket running in the spring with Goldream and go in again. Desert Law has ability but is quirky and is now tried in a hood. He'll be thereabouts if the headgear has the desired effect and Morache Music is a reliable sort at this level, though probably doesn't win as often as he should. El Viento wasn't beaten far at York last time while Gamesome still has time on his side and has a 7lb weight-for-age allowance. Secret Witness will pop up somewhere off his current mark but maybe not today.
