The very speedily-bred STEVE PRESCOTT was well supported on his debut at Haydock last Saturday and duly obliged with the minimum of fuss. He's a tall, rangy individual with bags of scope and will take some beating. Pillar Box showed good pace on his introduction on soft ground over Beverley's stiff 5f and showed the benefit with an impressive success on fast going at Bath. He should continue to improve as should Indescribable, who raced on quick going at Yarmouth for the first time and made all for a convincing victory despite hanging left, which won't be a problem here. Tom Dascombe's newcomer Showing Character is a half-brother to the smart two-year-old Van Der Neer so is one to keep an eye on.
