A wide open maiden here and the market will be very informative but the principals look to be Vitznau, Oi Vay Joe and Spiderback and the tentative vote is given to Vitznau. The selection was a fair fourth on his debut behind Cavallo di Ferro. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and as he is well drawn here he looks the one to be on. Oi Vay Joe rates the main danger on his debut third behind Espartano but that horse has since disappointed at Royal Ascot. However he should improve for the step-up in trip and should be closely watched in the market. Spiderback showed a modicum of ability on his debut behind Sans Reward and is another that is sure to improve but as he is bred to do better over a longer trip in time so he looks worth taking on. Ede's Dot Com is a well-bred Trans Island colt out of a moderate race mare and should be watched in the market but for the winner we return to Vitznau who is taken to put his experience to good use.
