Verdict

Gower Song gets the vote in a competitive opener with Nikki Bea and Gates of Eden rated as the main dangers. The selection is chasing the hat-trick here and although she has gone up 6lbs in the weights for her latest win over this course and distance, she did appear to score with plenty in hand that day and this progressive filly looks up to going in again despite her penalty. Nikki Bea rates the main danger as she also won well last time when beating Carloman at Lingfield. However, that was over 1m and with this step-up in trip not sure to suit she looks worth opposing. Gates Of Eaden is a lightly-raced filly and although she finished in mid-division on her seasonal reappearance at Lingfield, that race has worked out well so she has to be considered. Lunar River is making her seasonal bow and she is worth noting now that she is stepped-up in trip, but in an open race we will side with Gower Song to lead them home.
