This is the feature race of the evening and La Cucaracha holds strong claims and can beat Country Reel and Baltic King. The Barry Hills trained filly is the only three-year-old in the field and gets all the weight allowances. She has carried on her excellent form of last season with two very good efforts in listed company at Bath and Newbury and has a great opportunity to add to her two-year-old victories. The Goldolphin owned Country Reel has contested group contests and should reverse last season's running with Ashdown Express. Everything has to fall right for Baltic King, but if it does he has the ability to win a race of this nature. Of the remainder Bonus would be in with a real chance if he could recapture his brilliant form of last season. A terrific contest in prospect with many holding chances but La Cucaracha could be the pick of the weights.
