Nautical is the pick over Full Spate, with Adantino and Rosapenna just a couple more to conjure with. Nautical is in fact the only one here with a recent win to his name, having scored over the course-and-distance a fortnight ago. That was his third success at the Berkshire course, and although a drop of rain would come in handy, he should go well despite a small rise in the weights, with up-and-coming James Doyle in the saddle. Full Spate is another that goes well here but he has a long absence to overcome, while Adantino is yet another with track form to his name but he has been off the boil. Rosapenna might just need the run but hails from a stable in a bit of form so should not be ruled out of a place at least. In a wide-open contest we return to Nautical as the answer.
