    Verdict

The lucky last is another of those where none can be immediately discounted, but our shortlist of three are all course and distance winners, Dubai Petal, Cape Colony and An Scaribh with the selection being Cape Colony. Richard Hannon's colt is pretty consistent, if you forget the last race at York when finishing last as a short priced favourite. Both his wins have been at 10 furlongs, but there must be signs he'll take to this step up in distance. He's taken to come good again. Dubai Petal's been disappointing in her last couple of runs, but a return to the scene of her last success could see a reversal in fortunes. Expect her to try and come from off the pace again. An Scaribh won a claimer here a fortnight ago, and returns to handicap company following a change of yard. Kirsty Milczarek can claim a useful 3 pounds. But for the finale we'll take a chance with Cape Colony.
