Verdict

A competitive contest featuring in-form sorts. Things did not really pan out for Red Explorer at Chester last time and in the circumstances he did well to get within less than a length of the winner. A previously decisive scorer at Warwick, a prominent showing is anticipated. Course and distance winner Nenge Mboko has only won a couple of sellers the last twice and a mark of 80 looks harsh, whereas EXOTIC ISLE makes far more appeal off the same rating. Two of her last three successes have come at this venue and her latest victory suggested that she's more than ready for a sixth furlong. Expect Jamie Spencer to swoop late whilst Realize cannot be omitted from calculations after showing plenty of promise in maiden company, including a facile victory at long odds-on here last time.
