Hassle shaped pleasingly first time up this term when fourth to Pomology over course and distance and Clive Cox will be keen to see his patience rewarded with the Montjeu four-year-old. He has some younger rivals of promise to deal with though, of which Ralph Beckett's INGOT OF GOLD makes most appeal. The Dubawi filly was well supported on her seasonal reappearance but gave the impression of still needing the run when coming home fourth behind subsequent Haydock victor, Venue. The form looks solid and she can take the spoils with that run under her belt. Regal Silk has yet to confirm the promise of her runner-up effort in a typical back-end Newmarket maiden last term when an excellent second but would be a major threat if recapturing that level. Al Arish has to kept in mind on debut in view of the excellent form of the Cecil team.
