In depth

Verdict

A big field of moderate sprinters in which Bold Spirit carries a penalty for an easy victory over 7f at Musselburgh last week. He can get into the frame again as can Top Cop, though the latter has won just twice in 53 starts and has been climbing the weights without winning due to his consistency. Pull The Pin generally performs with credit at this level though he hasn't won for two years and Air Of York has done best over the minimum trip recently. Posh Bounty's only victory to date came on heavy going so a chance is taken with TIDAL'S BABY, who hasn't won for a very long time but has dropped to a fair mark as a consequence and has been showing a bit more dash recently.
