In depth

Verdict

Flashy Queen, whose four career victories have all been over the minimum trip, had an entry in the 5.10 at Pontefract yesterday. Piazon, who last won in May of last year, has been racing in better company and will appreciate the drop in class but this can go to Yorkshire in the shape of WHOZTHECAT (NAP). Declan Carroll's charge won a better handicap than this at Nottingham before just failing to last out over an extra furlong on soft ground at York. Divine Call created a 20/1 surprise at Goodwood but was well beaten at Bath on Sunday but Pal Of The Cat, though having his first run since last summer, won on his reappearance last April so obviously goes well fresh.
