It will be interesting to see how Godolphin's two runners, Impenetrable (the mount of Frankie Dettori) and Storm Lily, get on but neither have seen a racecourse until now and preference is for the proven King's Event. The selection was entitled to need the run on his recent start over course and distance as he was having his first start since April that day. A narrow defeat behind a useful looking sort trained by Ralph Beckett was no disgrace that day though and Sir Michael Stoute's colt is taken to go one better here. James Fanshawe's Shela House has shown a consistent level of form in three starts and should be thereabouts again, while Dear Maurice is another potentially interesting newcomer but like Godolphin's debutants may be best watched. There is likely to be more to come from King's Event though and he gets the vote.
