Verdict

Camellia's Girl could be open to improvement after just two career starts and could be of interest but in a race as weak as this it is hard to get away from Bridgewater Boys, who gets the vote with Lady Pickpocket rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has plenty in hand over his rivals on official ratings and a reproduction of recent form in similar company really should suffice. Miss Porcia has given little sign of encouragement this term, while Showtime Annie has not won for over three years and is unlikely to do so here judged by recent efforts. The Mark Tompkins-trained Lady Pickpocket has the ability to take a hand and has to be respected but Bridgewater Boys should be too classy and gets the verdict.
