Not a lot on the ratings between quite a few and with Esteem Machine's hold-up style of racing adding more dangers, instead we will plump for top-weight KINGSWINFORD. David Evan's gelding has plenty of experience on his side and he has barely put a foot wrong this season. However as a result his mark does not drop at all and he doesn't look handicapped to win races; hence the drop into claiming company. Desert Strike has some bits of form this year that make him of interest, especially his run behind Hi Shinko, whilst Matuza is the only course and distance winner in the line-up. Esteem Machine looks well-treated at the weights but he has flattered to deceive in the past and he will need some luck in running in this fair size field. Mango Music represents shrewd connections so watch the market there, Retro doesn't appear to have really trained on, whilst Jimmy Ryan hasn't looked the same horses since returning from his monster lay-off however this is a drop in class. A good quality claimer this, where the vote is given to Kingswinford.
