Verdict
French Art has had enough chances and is evidently flattered by an official rating of 84, and so we will side with potential improver Mazaris. Luca Cumani's Mull Of Kintyre colt caught the eye on debut when plugging on for a well-held fourth at Yarmouth behind runaway winner Last Three Minutes who has run well in handicap company since. Evidently not fully wound up for that debut run where he ran green, a big run is expected today. The obvious danger is French Art but he has been a beaten favourite on three of his six runs to date and punters may be getting tired of following him over a cliff. Stablemate James Pollard needs to improve on his debut run, as do Deer Lake and Summer Loving who were both well-beaten at the line. Black Coffee has hinted at ability but didn't seem to go forward from first to second runs, and with Aston Boy and Sponge just making up the numbers, it is Mazaris who is taken to oblige.
