Shifting Star is another of John Bridger's admirable veterans and showed he's no back number with a decisive success here last month for which he's been hit with an 5lb rise at the age of 11. He does go very well though at this venue and has struck up a fine relationship with William Carson. It's tempting to row in with the old boy but SHEILA'S TREAT could offer a spot of value as he's steadily coming to the boil this term and will be much more at home on the better ground than was the case when tiring late on in soft conditions at Newbury latest for which he's dropped 1lb. Bunbury and Major Assault remain open to progress after just a handful of starts, whilst Snappy Guest, a course and distance winner, has every chance if putting a strangely lethargic run behind him latest when tailed off at Yarmouth when something was presumably amiss.
