In depth

Verdict

A very wide open handicap that may go the way of Chinalea, with Greenwood and Prince Cyrano put forward as the main rivals. The selection has not been too consistent this season, but if reproducing his recent effort when runner up to Harrison's Flyer he will be very hard to beat. Greenwood gained reward for some promising efforts with a hard fought victory over Rampage over course and distance last time. He still looks on a very decent mark and should go close in his follow up bid. Prince Cyrano also comes here following a game victory. He just out-lasted today's rival Extremely Rare at Warwick in August and a repeat effort should see him involved in the finish. Best of the rest could be Andrew Balding's Elkhorn, but Chinalea, with the excellent Adam Kirby on board, looks the pick of the handicap.
