Verdict

A 6lbs penalty might not stop ROCKET ROB who can see off the likes of Sharp Bullet and Efistorm. Trainer Simon Callaghan is in good form and Rocket Rob was good value for his win at Sandown last week when he beat Night Affair. He has trip and ground to suit and he should take all the beating. Sharp Bullet won well on his debut as a juvenile and it is fair to assume that he may have needed the run here in May on his return from a lengthy break. He hasn't been seen out since then which suggests he has had a problem, but he does not lack for ability and he can go well. Efistorm is a course and distance winner and he is running off a competitive mark so he is another to consider. Good Gorsoon is better than he has been showing of late and it is worth noting that one of his two successes came over this course and distance. The Jobber could prove best of the rest, but Rocket Rob is in good form and he can win again.
