In depth

Verdict

Godolphin had a nice one two at Lingfield on Saturday and so they may have turned the corner and so we will plump for Faith And Reason, with Fear To Tread and Cool Customer put forward as the main rivals. The selection has had a couple of outings on the all-weather this campaign and could be spot on for his return to the turf. He gained two excellent victories last season and on those efforts he doesn't look badly treated. Fear To Tread is steadily improving with racing and extra distance. She hit winning form at Warwick last time and there could be more to come. Cool Customer is holding his form well and was only just touched off on softish ground at Goodwood in May. If he handles this faster surface he should make his presence felt. The pick of the others could be recent winner Mull Of Dubai, but we can't ignore the claims of Faith And Reason and this one gets the vote.
