In the second division of this maiden, Gravinsky is selected ahead of Oscar Snowman and, possibly, Feu d'Artifice. Depraux showed some promise on his debut, while Feu d'Artifice has so far failed to build on early promise but a 96-day break may have done him some good. Gravinsky's best efforts rate in the mid-70s, which is more than good enough to ensure competitiveness today, while, being from the Peter Chapple-Hyam stable, Intersky Music has to be of some interest on his debut. Oscar Snowman showed a lot of promise on his Salisbury debut last season. He has not been seen since but, if in that type of form, he rates as a major player today. Finally, Sound Of Nature showed a modicum of promise on her debut, and Book Of Days could be of interest on his debut. Overall, though, the vote goes to Gravinsky.
