Verdict

CARP KID has been gelded since scoring over track and trip in August. Both placed horses have subsequently won so the form looks solid and John Flint’s charge can go in again at the main expense of The Pinto Kid. The latter was narrowly beaten over 1m4f on the all-weather at Lingfield last time and has more scope than most of these including Macho Mover, whose earlier double included a course and distance victory. Rainbow Jazz won a lower grade contest over 1m2f at Chelmsford a week ago while Zatorius slides further down the weights and Doctor Knox may do better now handicapping for the first time.
