Verdict

Lady Dancealot finished well ahead of Mullionheir when winning at Goodwood and is having only her second start on the all-weather. Wiley Post is usually thereabouts at this level and Green Fortune’s second at Yarmouth looks better in hindsight with the winner going in again subsequently. Harry Beau and Acrux are others with a shout off their current marks but a chance is taken on the least exposed in GREAT MIDGE. Henry Candy’s sprinter wasn’t beaten far when fourth at Kempton on his handicap debut and has plenty of scope for further improvement.
