        Verdict

        The newcomers are interesting and the market should help signal stable expectations, with Sakheer and Magical Sunset making most appeal on paper. Experience remains key in such events though and ANCESTRAL LAND (NAP) is taken to follow up his pleasing debut at this track when runner-up to Al Karrar. He was a beaten favourite that day but didn't receive the smoothest of passages throughout and the form of the contest received a significant boost when the winner went on to finish runner-up in the Group 2 Richmond Stakes. Thunder Ball is respected but Dark Jade rates a larger threat after a promising debut when only beaten a couple of lengths at Ffos Las. Hunkpapa is probably better than form figures suggest and has an each-way claim.
