        Verdict

        Otago, Stargazer Jim and Tybalt are three against the field in this competitive finale and the vote is given to Tybalt. The selection won well last time when defeating Tritonville Lodge in the style of an improver, and although this looks tougher he is taken to win again with his stable continuing in top form. Stargazer Jim rates the main danger on his latest second behind Zabeel Palace but his very best form is with slightly more cut in the ground and for that reason he is opposed. Otago is another that could go well now that he drops in grade but he is far from straightforward and at the likely odds he looks worth taking on. Atacama Star showed improved form to be third behind Sea Wall last time but will need to improve again to win this. Of the others, Pre Eminance is from a shrewd yard and should be monitored in the market but for the winner we return to the improving Tybalt.
