Cheap N Chic has been found a suitable opportunity to open her account, and should make the most of it, with Barb and newcomer Kangaruz expected to give her most to do. Cheap N Chic is entered for some big sales races this autumn and by then should have a win to her credit, as this race is there for the taking. Brian Meehan's filly, a half-sister to Golden Nun, was only beaten narrowly at Lingfield and Pontefract, and was tried in first-time blinkers when fourth at Haydock last month. She appeared to be too keen with the headgear on, and will maybe relax more now without the aids. Her experience against fair opposition will count for a lot, and the daughter of Primo Valentino should make no mistake. Barb only beat one home on her Leicester debut after playing up beforehand, so should improve, especially on the faster ground, while any support for either of the newcomers, Kangaruz and Leamington Lad, would be worth noting. However, it is very hard to ignore the claims of Cheap N Chic who has an obvious chance.
Kangaruz (IRE) Fayruz colt out of a moderate racemare.
Leamington Lad (IRE) Beckett colt, half-brother to 2 winners up to a mile.
