Kensington can defy topweight at the expense of Montana, with Rileys Dream, Arfinnit and Woodbury others to consider. Kensington looked one to follow when landing a Ripon maiden for Rae Guest last September, but he failed to progress when tried on the all-weather and on soft ground, and eventually left to join David Evans. The impact was immediate as he stormed home in a Bath claimer six days ago. The change of scenery and the fast conditions no doubt helped his cause, and despite now heading the handicap, this class 6 contest should be well within his grasp. Montana has plunged to a lowly mark, and has run with credit at Epsom and Folkestone recently. He should go well despite a high draw, while course and distance winner Rileys Dream will be more effective back here after tackling Leicester's stiff finish last time. Arfinnit has leading claims as well strictly on his running behind the selection at Bath, as he was unlucky in running and is better off now. He can reach the frame at least, with Woodbury not out of it either on this ground. Kensington bounced back last time though and is taken to follow up.
