Verdict
Momtic, Presto Shinko and Sion Hill look the ones to concentrate on with the latter getting the vote to make up for a disappointing effort here last time. The selection can be forgiven that effort as he had the worst of the draw that day, and he can be better judged on his run behind Bachelor Of Arts at Chester. A reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat in this. Presto Shinko has shown enough to suggest he can make his mark at this level and he looks sure to go well, as does Momtic, who is well drawn to take advantage of his early pace. He could well take some pegging back if allowed an easy role up front. Typhonic can be expected to have learnt from his debut, while the same can be said of Dreaming Waters, who hails from a useful middle-distance family. However, she may do better next year when stepping up in trip, so this looks set to go to Sion Hill, who can make up for his failure here last time.
