Verdict

Red Diadem is the pick over Just Down The Road, Sensuous and Orange Dancer in the finale at the Berkshire track. Red Diadem did not get the best of luck in running when only third at Southwell last time and remains one to keep on the right side of. The William Haggas inmate tries Turf for the first time on what is her handicap debut, and this half-sister to mile winner Argent should pay to follow this summer. Just Down The Road was a gutsy winner at Lingfield last time, making all, but her task is not made easy with a 7lb penalty. Mind you, she has a nice draw and the assistance of Frankie Dettori, so has to be respected. Sensuous ran better than her finishing position indicates at Brighton and should be up there helping to force the pace again, while Orange Dancer, who was all out to prevail in a fillies' handicap at Chepstow, can call upon Travis Block's claim to help ease the burden of topweight. They are just a few in with chances in this trappy affair, but Red Diadem may have more scope than most so is the selection.
