    Verdict

In what does not look a strong race, Fremen might provide the answer. Sir Michael Stoute's colt finished third at Warwick last time, on which form he has the beating of Lasanga, and although that form is hardly world beating, it could be good enough here. Lasanga did show upon his return at Sandown but that too was not a strong race. The Player was well held on his only run last year and displayed inexperience in the process. Desert Dance did not look anything out of the ordinary on his debut at Newmarket, while the well-bred Golden Dual has ability but, overall, has been disappointing. However, if he takes to the first-time blinkers, he could run well. The field is completed by Paul Cole's Masonry. He ran poorly at Wolverhampton last but, if repeating his third to the ill-fated Shield at Lingfield the time before that, could go well on his Turf debut. However, we'll stick with Fremen, who may turn out best suited by further than today's trip.
