    Verdict

An interesting nursery in which Self Belief could provide the answer. The cheaply-bought daughter of Easycall has shown promise in three starts, including here over five furlongs last time in a race that has produced winners, and might show further improvement over this longer trip. It's a race though where we'll get more of a handle on the form after the race as many have shown bits of form and are possibly open to improvement. Of these, Shielaligh won well over course and distance on her debut but, beaten since, she is probably opposable off topweight. Hilites is holding her form well and is likely to be involved at the business end. Mick Channon runs Truly Wonderful, and Richard Hannon runs Bee Minor and Scarlet Empress, who each have claims. As we say, it's tricky, but maybe Self Belief can find the necessary improvement to land her first win.
