Verdict
On official ratings SHIFTING POWER (NAP) has at least 5lb in hand over his rivals thanks to a couple of runner-up spots in Group 1 company last season. He looked in need of the run in the Group 2 Bet365 Mile at Sandown last month. His stablemate Baltic Knight was behind him at Sandown and looks held on his overall form and though Complicit has won six of his 16 races none have been at this level and he's probably better on Polytrack. Clon Brulee is a fine handicapper with seven victories to his credit though softer ground and a longer trip would be preferable. Sirius Prospect has won regularly at this level and wasn't beaten far at Doncaster in March after a fruitless trip to Dubai.
