Craftsmanship is on a long losing run though does have a course and distance victory to his credit. Russian Reward won a Polytrack claimer in March and is consistent enough at this level without winning while Captain Felix also won a claimer at Redcar in June though ran moderately over timber during the winter. Gambit had been racing in better company before dropping to this grade at Pontefract where he started favourite but fluffed his lines and was well beaten. MARIE JOSEPHE came here for a maiden three weeks ago and made all for a convincing victory. She looks to have been found a good opportunity to make a successful handicap debut.
