      Verdict

      Ice Age went close over 6f at Ripon last week but had done all his winning over longer trips so far having yet to race over 5f. Blue De Vega has just the one victory since 2015 though finished in front of Just Glamorous, Open Wide and Just That Lord when third in the Dash at Epsom last time while Harry Hurricane is upped in class after just missing out at Newmarket and is preferred to Storm Over. But ORVAR has been competing in Class 2 company all year and after a better effort over the minimum trip at York last time Paul Midgley’s sprinter could go well in this lower grade now back on a winning mark.
