Porto Ferro has been in decent form here this summer and is probably on a decent mark at present, though likely to find at least one too good again. Garth Rockett has a great record on the all-weather but is 1-18 on Turf. Under Curfew has only won once so far and that was over 5f on Polytrack. BROUGHTON EXCELS has only run three times so far on this surface and hasn’t raced since March but he has often run well off this sort of mark on artificial surfaces and is worth chancing in a race like this.
