An Scaribh is the selection after a career best effort last time out where he chased home the progressive Princess Lomi. He travelled very strongly and moved into contention in what was eye-catching fashion in that Beverley event and some felt his rider, if more tactically aware, could have prevented the winner from attaining a run, as he made his move on the outer. Ultimately, the eventual winner did get her run and went away but David Evans' dual fibresand winner is the obvious pick back down into claiming grade. Sergeant Sharpe has been disappointing since dropped into this grade on his last two starts. It appears as if he is short of gears in the closing stages. Third at Great Leighs in this grade, the winner is clearly better than the level at which he was competing but he was a long way adrift of the second who is a regular in the grade. Dual Wolverhampton scorer Kryptonite has been beaten out of sight on his two most recent visits to the racecourse but back into claiming grade could well prove to be the biggest danger to the selection who is An Scaribh.
