        Verdict

        It has been noticeable in recent meetings at Folkestone that there is a distinct advantage to race up the stands side rail and Thoughtsofstardom, who has been running well without winning of late, could hardly be better berthed than in stall one and he gets the vote ahead of Mambazo and Harrison's Flyer. The last mentioned ran better on soft ground at Chepstow last time and Milton Bradley's gelding has claims on that evidence if able to reproduce the form back on a better surface today. John Akehurst's Azygous has similar claims but faces no easy task from stall 10, while another Milton Bradley runner Briery Lane has to be respected but has a poor strike-rate and may be best watched. Mambazo is not straight-forward but is capable and could be of interest off what looks a decent mark back on turf after a decent spell on the Polytrack. Thoughtsofstardom has plenty going for him though and he gets the vote to make the most of his draw in stall one.
