Richard Hughes doesn't make many mistakes when given a choice of rides and has chosen Sandown runner-up Equitania ahead of DANSILI DUAL. But this could be one of those occasions when it pays to question the champion-elect's judgement as the latter, a C&D winner in June, boasts a very decent level of form and has been taking on decent opposition in his last two starts over 6f. He gets the nod in receipt of 6lb from his stablemate as he should reverse Goodwood running with Dutch Masterpiece on this softer ground. Polytrack winner Just Charlie is lightly raced but has been done no favours by the handicapper and Khefyn was a long way behind Bridge Night on his only previous try at this level.
