The former Marcus Tregoning inmate Mumaathel is probably best watched on his first start for new connections and first outing for a year, with preference for Al Badeya who gets the vote ahead of High 'n Dry. The last mentioned has shown a consistent level of form and deserves to win a race but Charles Cyzer's filly is far from certain to appreciate the drop in trip to six furlongs so may be best watched. Neville Callaghan's Hazytoo has found one too good in each of his last two starts and has to be respected but this looks tougher. Pat Eddery's Compulsion has shown only signs of ability so far, while Vogarth needs to improve on all known form to trouble the judge. The vote then goes to Sir Michael Stoute's Al Badeya, a speedily bred filly, who should improve for being dropped to six furlongs for the first time today.
